              Our self catering turkey holiday apartment (Everest Altinkum Heights) is located in Altinkum, Turkey - off the new marina road in Altinkum and is available for short and long holiday rentals. The apartment is conveniently situated for easy access to bar & restaurants, shopping and the many beaches of Altinkum Its a 2 bedroom (sleeps 5) - fully furnished modern 2nd floor apartment in a holiday complex (built in 2009) within a peaceful surrounding but close to the buzzing nightlife, bars, restaurants, shopping and the beautiful beaches. The apartment has a balcony with a distant sea view, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, jacuzzi bath, living room, kitchen with appliances, cutlery, oven, fridge, washing machine, air conditioning, and a TV/DVD player. Facilities on-site in the complex include an indoor pool, outdoor pool, spa (jacuzzi, turkish bath, massage, sauna), gym and a bar. Local buses (called a Dolmus) can be found outside the apartment complex which takes you into town and the main beach/third beach every 30 minutes (The journey time is only 20 mins with a dolmus and 10 mins with a car) Baby cots can be hired for £10 per week if required* The nearest airport to Altinkum is in Bodrum (Milas-Bodrum Airport) and the journey time is approximately 1 hour. For travel from Izmir (Adnan Menderes AIrport), the journey time is approximately 2 hours.Altinkum means 'Golden Sands', and this is obvious when you see its many beaches sitting beautifully at the edge of the turquoise Aegean Sea. The three largest beaches are named Main Beach, Second Beach, and Third Beach. However don't forget to explore the smaller, quieter private beaches that are dotted around the coast as well, as these ones can offer breathtaking spots away from the crowds (there are many quiet beaches to explore). BeachesMain beach is the most popular beach thanks to its great location right in the heart of Altinkum. Its a long stretch of sand; one can take a nice stroll, hire a sunbed, swim and just chill out in the sun. This beach is great for the whole family as it offers many facilities, shops, bars and restaurants, all found on the promenade Second beach is located just a short walk away from Main beach in the Tuntas area with a few bars and restaurants dotted around. Small but perfectly formed, the Third beach is surrounded by lovely beach side restaurants and cosy bars with spectacular views of the ocean. The Didim marina is also next to the Third beach and can be very lively in the summer season. The Third beach offers a quieter and an up market environment and more relaxed atmosphere than the Main and Second Beach. Watersports are available on most beaches, however the Third beach is the most popular for this.
